Tuska - 2002 - Käärmeys [EP]

What is blackcore?

Интересное такое явление наблюдается: современные коллективы стараются, из кожи вон лезут, но лишь бы прихуячить к названию своей музыки слово "core". А как оно на самом деле? Что мы видим под вывеской блэккора? Через раз это то какой-нибудь симфо-блэк, то потуги высрать блэкушный грайндкор (зачастую - убогие) ну и так далее. Можно написать тонны информации по тому, что же есть блэккор. Я же, вступая в полемику на эту тему, всегда упоминаю только одно название - Tuska, которые являются единственными для меня представителями именно БЛЭК-КОРА (безо всяких оговорок).

Tuska - очередной проект культового финского раздолбая и певца-песенника Грегера Гронхольма (Greger Grönholm aka Matti Tuska, G.G., Primus, Sickfuck, Paranoid Psycho), породившего на этот свет столько музыкального смрада в составе Malicious Death, Distrahera, Loinen, Masokismi, Six-Pack God, Sven Tuba och Fiskmåsarna, Veresliha, Våld (Fin), Söder om Söder, что другим и не снилось. 

На выходе мы получаем симбиоз по типу "хк\панк meets black metal", далёкий при этом от ортодоксального блэка, но обладающий его, так сказать, духом.

Rebirth Brass Band - 1994 - Rollin'

Music of New Orleans in the traditions of Brass Band and Jazz Funeral. What can I say about these guys who make people rolling for more than 25 years? They are great. Using trombone, trumpet, tuba and more other instrumentation they can make you see sunny summer days of The Crescent City when sitting in your room somewhere in Russia and watсhing snowy April streets through the window (like me).

Phurpa - 2009 - Dud of the Black Net

(recorded live during concerts and rituals in autumn 2008, Moscow - winter 2009, Paris)

This voyage began in the middle of the 1990's in Moscow, when a group of artists and musicians led by Alexei Tegin and based at the legendary Fabrique of Cardinal Art commenced their studies of traditional ritual music, drifting away from the field of contemporary electroacoustic and industrial music with the intent to delve deeper into the ancient musical cultures of the ancient Egypt, Iran and Tibet. The original 2003 lineup of the project that emerged as a result was dubbed Phurpa (one of the five tutelary deities of the Father Tantra in Bon tradition), and all the members have carried on with their research in the field of Bon and Buddhist liturgies up to the present day. The ritual Tibetan instruments as used by the ensemble include the following: dunchen, gyaling, silnyen, bub, damaru, kanling, nga, shang. The ensemble adheres to the rgyud-skad tradition of Tantric overtone chanting.
